Oberammergau - Laber

Wikipedia: The Laber is located at the northern edge of the Alps, about 60 km south of Munich, entirely within Germany. To the east, the Laber is bordered by the Loisach Valley. To the west, it descends into the Ammer Valley and adjoins the Großer Aufacker to the north. To the south, the Laber is connected to the Notkarspitze in the Ammergau Alps via the Ettaler Sattel. Within the Ammergau Alps, the Laber massif is part of the Laber-Hörnle group and forms its main peak.

The highest point, at 1,686 meters above sea level, is located slightly west of the upper station of the Laber Cable Car. Important valley towns at the foot of the mountain include Oberammergau and Ettal.

You can either take the cable car to the top or also hike. At least, I recommend to visit “Schartenkopf” (see video)

Füssen - Neuschwanstein

Wikipedia: Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) is a 19th-century historicist palace on a rugged hill of the foothills of the Alps in the very south of Germany. It is located in the Swabia region of Bavaria, in the municipality of Schwangau, above the incorporated village of Hohenschwangau, which is also the location of Hohenschwangau Castle. The closest larger town is Füssen. The castle stands above the narrow gorge of the Pöllat stream, east of the Alpsee and Schwansee lakes, close to the mouth of the Lech into Forggensee.
